Fashion TimeLine

In the 1800’s people had a very unique but classy sense of style. You see the women wore mostly dresses. In the early 19th century, ladies were not supposed to show much skin. Some fashions in the early 1800's made women look much like statues of Greek goddesses! Everyday men’s clothing included a shirt, pants, waistcoat (vest), tie and coat. Most of the clothes were made by the women of the house. The sewing machine wasn’t invented until late 1840. Their fashion was very stylish but also plain.

In the 1900’s the fashion trend was much similar to the 1800’s. The women still dressed classy but they did show a little more skin like the legs and arms. The men wore suit like attire just like in the 1800’s. The fashion trend didn’t change too much. There were many options for the women and many things for them to create because of the invention of a sewing machine in the 1800’s.

In the 2000’s that’s when the fashion trend became more exciting and fun. It is a clash of old school mixed with new. There are different colors and fabrics mashed together to make an outfit. Shoes are an important factor to complement the attire. You see different people with different styles. No one looks the same. The trend continues to grow every year.
