Recent Meal :)
The recent meal I had was some baked spaghetti, salad and cheesy garlic bread. That's my favorite meal. The cheese on the baked spagetti was so soft and cheesy. The spaghetti and the salad was so good I had to come back for more. The garlic bread was so buttery and cheesy. The whole meal together was absolutely delicious. That's a meal that will fill you up in ten minutes.

3WISHES!!!
#3
If I had three wishes my third wish would be for everyone to live forever.
I would be able to have more time with my family and I wouldn't have to worry about "what if something happens to me tomorrow" or "what if I don't get to do this next week" or "what if my parents don't live to see my wedding day". That wouldn't even be a worry because we would live forever and time would be on my side. There would be no diseases and I would have more energy and to invest in becoming successful
#2
My second wish would be to have lots and lots of money. I know they say "mo money mo problems" but shoot right about now in my situation money would solve all my problems. My family wouldn't have to worry about what we're going to eat today or tomorrow. I could help people who are homeless. I rather help the needy and not the greedy! having a lot of money wouldn't change me, maybe the people around me but I don't care.
#1
My number one wish would be to have all the violence stop in the world. All this commiting suicide and killing others is just ridiculous. I just want world peace. I'm not saying I want everyone to be happy all the time but can we just stop with the idiotic choices we make? Seriously life would be so much better if people stop being so ignorant!!

Music is all I need
Music moves me in a way I can't explain. Any mood I am in, music seems to always adapt to my feelings. On days I'm turnt I blast 2 Chainz or Meek Mill. On sad, gloomy days where I'm "in my feelings" I listen to slow jamz or smooth R&B. But that only makes it worse! Hip Hop gets me hype and I want to fight sometimes, lol but it makes you forget about whatever sadness that has come over you. Still I don't care because music is all I need. When everybody has pissed you off and made you cry music is always there. When you come home from a stressful day at work/school listen to music, and turn your thoughts off for a moment and just relax. When you have too much homework just listen to music and do your work, you will be involved more and may get done with your work a little quicker. Some music just make you sit and think about deep stuff. Music can't hurt nobody so music is my bestfriend. Music will never betray you. Music is here to delay a message, sooth your heart or make you think. Music is all you need.

Holidays!!!
Holidays are not that important to me as I have grown up. When I was a kid I would get excited about the upcoming holidays. I knew on certain holidays we did not have to attend school. I also knew that you could get gifts on certain holidays like Valentine's day, Christmas, Halloween etc. The holidays just give you a reason to smile. I love spending time with my family on holidays because it gives us time to bond.

Why im ready for college!
Senior year is so over rated. People think when you become a senior you automatically have fun, less homework, and you can just chill..WRONG! senior year is preparing you for college and it is indeed very stressful, plan ahead, think positive and stay busy doing extra curricular activities. I feel that all this hard work im doing will eventually pay off I just can't give up. I'm ready for the college life because I want to explore and step outside of my comfort zone. College will be probably ten times harder than high school but atleast I'm not forced to do anything. College will either make me or break me and either way im ready to continue my journey of getting a education. Even though I'll have a lot of freedom I will always have my dignity and self respect no matter where I am or where I am going. I'm ready to meet new people. I'm pretty sure college will be fun as long as I know that hard work comes along with it. College is not for everybody and I want to be one of few who actually went to college in my family. College here I come :)

Social media and Technology positive impact
Social media and technology have made its way positively in people's everyday life. Technology has been produce to entertain people and communicate to people. The media always keep you aware of things like what's going on in the world, what's new, who died, who went to jail or whatever. 1.) The news outlet gives people the update of what is happening around us and people can learn about what food is not healthy, who is hiring and what items have had recalls on them. The news always sheds a positive light on people becasue it keeps us awrae of important things. 2.) life has never been easier to make friends than it is right now, mainly thanks to social networking sites. Just a few decades ago it was pretty tough to connect with people, unless you were the overly outgoing type able to make conversation with anyone. 3.) The rise of technology, like mobile phones, helped change the way people connect with each other, apply for jobs and etc. You can use technology to apply for jobs online, research anything dealing with health. 4.) Social networking sites also offer the chance of communication in cases where mobility is often a hindrance to social interaction. Elderly people and those with physical disabilities who have an inability to leave their house are able to stay in touch with existing relations and friends, as well as get in touch with people who have similar issues. 5.) social networking sites is the promotion of education and news. People can share information via links, reviews and applications. They may source this information from other places and share them with others or provide their own information for education, updates of news or support. Many educational institutions encourage learning via the Internet and social networking sites because it allows an easy communication channel for students to learn and share skills.
How Social Media has altered people's lives
Social media is a two-way street that gives you the ability to communicate. Social media today is very powerful and can effect many people's lives. Technology can be used in many ways especially to communicate. Here is a couple of situations where social media altered these people's lives.
1.) Amanda Todd:
Amanda Todd was a tenth grade student who commited suicide due to bullying. When she was in seventh grade she used video chat to meet new people. This one guy convinced her to show her breast to him. He later threatened her that he would expose the picture if she didnt give him a "show". Soon after that, police notified Todd that the picture had gone viral. Todd became very scared, depressed and her family eventually had to move. A year later the guy reappeared by creating a facebook page with the topless photo of Todd as the profile picture. Amanda started to consume drugs and alcohol. She shared a intimate chemistry with a guy who had a girlfriend. The girlfriend found out and she and her group of friends attacked Todd. Amanda Todd was seriously teased and bullied in school. She had no friends and her depression became too much for her to bare. She attempted to kill herself by drinking bleach but was immediately rushed to the hospital to have her stomach pumped. Her parents moved once again to start over fresh. It was too late to start over for Todd, her mental state had worsen once she recieved abusive messages. She start to mutilate her body. She overdose and spent time in the hospital. Todd was teased at school after that for having low grades and a learning disability. Prior to her death, Todd posted a video on YouTube in which she used a series of flash cards to tell of her experience of being blackmailed, bullied, and physically assaulted. Todd was found dead in her home October, 10, 2012 around 6:00pm. She commited suicide by hanging herself. The video went viral after her death.
2.) Chris Brown and Rihanna:
Singer Brown was arrested for allegedly assaulting Rihanna back in 2009. The former couple got into a physical fight in a car on their way to the Grammys with pictures later emerging of Rihanna's swollen face. Officers Blanca Lopez and Rebecca Reyes faced the sack from the Los Angeles Police Department for allegedly leaking the photos to TMZ.com. Brown was found guilty of assault and was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, and six months of community service. He was also slapped with a restraining order, which was lifted last year.
3.) R.kelly:
On February 3, 2002, a video allegedly showing Kelly engaging in sex with, and urinating on, an allegedly underage woman surfaced. The story, which was released by an unknown source, was sent to the Chicago Sun-Times, the newspaper that broke the story. Kelly denied that he was the man in the video. Bootleg copies of that tape became widely available on the black market and over file sharing networks. In June 2002, Kelly was indicted in Chicago on 21 counts of having sex with a minor, which were later reduced to soliciting a minor for child pornagraphy seven counts of videotaping the acts, and seven counts of producing child pornography. That same month, authorities searched Kelly's house in Davenport, Florida. Officers found an unusual amount of commercially manufactured and distributed adult porn in a room. During the search officers also obtained pictures of an allegedly underage woman on a digital camera – wrapped in a towel in a duffel bag. Kelly was arrested in January 2003 on those charges. In March 2004, these charges were dropped due to a lack of probable cause for the search warrants.
After a number of delays, on October 27, 2006, a Cook County, Illinois court hearing for pre-trial motions set the date of the actual trial to February 7, 2007. On the date of the trial, Kelly's lawyer informed the court that his client was unable to attend because he was "undergoing surgery for a burst appendix". He also announced that Kelly was "in good condition and was expected to be released from the hospital later in the day." Kelly's attorney stated that Kelly (who pleaded not guilty) would be in attendance on the next trial date of February 21, 2007.It had previously been announced by the court that the videotape that allegedly showed Kelly performing sex acts with an underage woman would be publicly shown as evidence in the trial. The trial, however, was delayed due to disputes over when the tape was made and to give medical recuperation time to the sitting judge following a fall resulting in broken bones. Later the case was set for a September 17 date. It took more than six months for the case to go to trial. Jury selection began on May 9, 2008, and the trial officially started on May 20 with opening statements from the prosecution and defense. After two weeks, the prosecution's case wrapped on June 3 while the defense's wrapped six days later, on June 9. After less than a day of deliberations, on June 13, 2008, a Chicago jury found Kelly not guilty of all 14 counts.
4.) Denise Helms:
Denise Helms takes it back.
The Turlock, Calif., woman who made headlines for her contreversial facebook post last week is now rethinking her actions.Frustrated by President Barack Obama's reelection, the 22-year-old woman voiced her displeasure in an angry post that was quickly picked up by national news outlets. “Another 4 years of this (N-word),” Helms wrote. “Maybe he will get assassinated this term.”
Helms told Fox 40 that her profile had been set to private, and her mother said that an ex-boyfriend of Helms're-posted a screen shot of the updated status on twitter, allowing everyone on the Internet to see the comments. The backlash was swift. Helms lost her job as a store manager at a local Cold Stone Creamery, and the Modesto/Stanislaus NAACP contacted Cold Stone Creamery officials about the incident. According to the Modesto Bee, the store received about 20 angry messages about Helms on Thursday. When pressed about the post, Helms said she was not a racist.“It does [sound like I'm a racist],” Helms said, “but I am not. That’s what everyone’s been telling me, ‘You know, what you said sounded so racist,’ and it does, and you know, I take it back. If I could erase what I said, I would.”
5.) Amber Cole:
Amber Cole is a 14-year-old female student who became the subject of a Worldwide Trending Topic on Twitter on Sunday, October 16th, 2011, after being featured in a viral video showing her performing a sexual act on one of her male classmates after school. While we don’t know the full story behind the situation, there are rumors floating around that the boy Amber is pleasuring in the video was her “first love” and she “lost her virginity to him.” Apparently, the boy broke her heart, and she was trying hard to “win him back.”He told her in order to get him back, she had to perform oral sex on him. So Amber, being the young, naive, teenage girl that she was, fell for it, and did as requested. But little did she know, someone was actually recording the sex act, and not only that, but they took her humiliation a step further and posted it on the Internet for all to see.Once the video hit the net, it was a “hit” among Internet users who shared the clip, which could be considered child pornography considering the age of the subjects in it, and before long, “Amber Cole” was a Worldwide Trending topic, with people calling her disgusting names and basically slandering her image.Parents, bloggers and others are voicing their concern for Cole alleging that the video contains child pornographic material and sharing it could potentially be a criminal act. The person or persons responsible for uploading the explicit clip have yet to be identified, and the date and time at which the video was recorded is unknown.

What I Think Of Fashion! :)
Fashion
Fashion is the attire people put together to express
a certain feeling, a popular trend or style of dress. Of course fashion is not
for everyone but we are all different and we have different taste in dress. I
like to dress more conservative. People say I’m weird with clothing and I’m
okay with that.
| You can be cute and comfortable! Don’t be afraid to try it. |
I love this! These
boots work well with just a hint of Victorian style such as a blouse, or a long skirt. Their smart look means they're
very comfortable to wear to work, and their thick heels help to keep them
modern and feminine.
This make up is very heavy, I dislike
when a female wears too much makeup, and your covering your natural beauty …I rather
keep it plain and simple.
I love leggings with a nice top and boots
but ladies leggings are not made for everyone, especially for the females with
a odd shape…I’m just saying.
Cross body bags are my favorite! You don’t have to worry about
carrying it on your arm or worrying about it falling off your shoulder. It goes
across the shoulder and stays there.
Now some ladies can pull off wearing
sneakers with something classy but this should’ve been worn with heels instead,
sneakers don’t go with everything.

In the 1800’s people had a very unique but classy
sense of style. You see the women wore mostly dresses. In
the early 19th century, ladies were not supposed to show much skin. Some
fashions in the early 1800's made women look much like statues of Greek
goddesses! Everyday men’s clothing included a shirt, pants, waistcoat
(vest), tie and coat. Most of the clothes were made by the women of the house.
The sewing machine wasn’t invented until late 1840. Their fashion was very
stylish but also plain.
In
the 1900’s the fashion trend was much similar to the 1800’s. The women still
dressed classy but they did show a little more skin like the legs and arms. The
men wore suit like attire just like in the 1800’s. The fashion trend didn’t change
too much. There were many options for the women and many things for them to
create because of the invention of a sewing machine in the 1800’s.
In the 2000’s that’s when the fashion trend became
more exciting and fun. It is a clash of old school mixed with new. There are
different colors and fabrics mashed together to make an outfit. Shoes are an important
factor to complement the attire. You see different people with different
styles. No one looks the same. The trend continues to grow every year.

My Thanksgiving break!
Oh my! Thanksgiving this year was amazing. My father side of the family held a big dinner at St. John Lodge here in Greensboro. We had enough space to hold 60 people, and enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. My mom and others filled the lodge with thanksgiving decorations. We had all types of food from smoked turkey, honey glazed ham, corn, broccoli and cheese casarole, baked macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, baked chicken, dressing, potatoe salad, italian greens and more! Yes I know it sounds good right? It was delicious. My niece turned 1 years old on thanksgiving too so after our dinner we had a birthday party. Ofcourse that consisted of birthday cake, cup cakes, ice cream, and candy. I had a good time and was very well satisfied with all the food. Everyone was smiling and making the best of being together. The kids made a mess by spilling stuff on the floor and who had to clean it up? Me! Overall my time with the Miller family was great I love them. Hope next year is even better.

Being a senior in High School
As a senior you have many responsibilities. You are at the top of the food chain in High School so you feel like your "grown". It's a good feeling to know you have made it to the end. It is your job as a senior to make sure all your senior items are paid for. Make sure you have all the credits needed to graduate. Seniors do get most of the attention and it's cool but hard work comes with that. You have tyo maintain good grades through out the whole school year and that is important. You have to sit through long SAT and ACT test. It sucks but in the end your future depends on the outcome of how hard you worked. You have to be ready for long nights staying up working on your senior project. Sometimes it is stressful but you just have to think positive and stay motivated.Make sure everything is organized and that you are ready for college. Being a senior is fun and stressful at the same time but hard work pays off so I enjoy being a senior while I can.
SMOD and NO SMOD
Many Middle Schools, High Schools and Elementary Schools have standard mode of dress (SMOD). Some schoold feel that if the students are seen in uniform then your seen as in proper dress in other peoples eyes. Other schools think that it lowers the chances of children being bullied. Either way it's both bull crap to me. When the student is in smod it doesn't give them the satisfaction of expressing themselves. It also makes the student feel trapped inside of their own body. When the student is not in smod they can dress however they feel or based on whatever their mood is. There are many choices the student can choose from when they are not wearing smod. Students will be bullied no matter what you have on. Smod or no smod shouldn't effect what the child can do academically in school.
Why Acrylic nails are dangerous
So for the ladies who like to keep their nails done I commend you for keeping them fresh. If you get acrylic nails I advise you to keep them at a good length to where they wont be easy to break. The longer they are the easier it is for them to break. Any sudden movement could break your nail if they're too long. Mind you that the acrylic nail is glued to your actual real nail so you need to be careful. I know this one girl who got into a physical altercation and during that altercation her whole fingernail came off. Just the other day in dance class one of my peers ring hit my fingernail. My fingernail was cracked and my real nail up under was damaged. It was bleeding really bad. My personal experience should show, anybody who wears acrylic nails, these acrlyic nails can be dangerous. They look nice when they're finish but be careful with what you do and what type of job you have.

why education is important for single teen moms too
Teen moms are portrayed in a negative light through some people's eyes. Being a teen mom doesn't make you a monster or a stupid female. They are still human beings and they have feelings. Education is a must for teenage mothers and it is important your child view you as a role model. Only 40 percent of teenagers who have children before age 18 go on to graduate from high school, compared to 75 percent of teens from similar social and economic backgrounds who do not give birth until ages 20 or 21. My mother had my brother at the tender age of 14. She admits trying to hang with the popular crowd and do what they do. After having a child at 14 she dropped out of school because it was too much to handle. I know it can be hard but now a days you have no choice but to stay in school. Education is the key to success and school is your way out. Do not be apart of the statistic. Go to school and become a strong parent for your child. It will help you in the long run. I promise.
Election! #O B A M A
I'm so excited president Barack Obama has been re-elected to serve a second term. In the beggining of the race President Obama only had 3 electoral votes while governor Romney had 19. I was nervous even though it was just the begining. I didn't want to watch the rest of the election so I cut the tv off and occupied myself by doing something else. Maybe an hour later I ut the tv back on and Obama had 244 electoral votes and Romney had 203. From that point on I knew my president had been re-elected I didn't need the tv to tell me so. I'm proud of the people who actually went out and voted. President Obama said "The best is yet to come".

Bullying
I see bullying almost everywhere I go. I'm not
exactly sure what these kids go through but I can imagine what it must be like
to get picked on, talked about, and harassed. Many people get bullied to the
point where they take their own lives. Sad but true. I see many No
Bullying posters, many ads, organizations and bully free programs. I’m
sure most would agree that bullying other people is not right and something
should be done to stop this abuse. To be honest I ask myself how in the world posters,
verbal messages, and consequences prevent bullying. My opinion is I don't think
there will ever be a resolution to bullying. The bully will still be the bully
and there's nothing you can do about it. People get bullied for various reasons
like their appearance, sex, ethnicity, disability, being imperfect and other
reasons. Truth is nobody is perfect so how dare one human being judge another.
Bullying doesn’t always happen in school it’s at home, work place and any
public place. My 10 year old cousin gets picked on constantly by his classmates
and step father who is abusive. Recently he went to school and told his
teachers that he wanted to kill himself. It broke my heart to even think my
little cousin would do such a thing. He is now seeing a therapist and there’s a
chance he may get removed from his home. I just wonder why people feel the need
to intimidate others. I just don’t understand what goes through the mind of a
bully. Does it make them feel like they have power? I wish this abuse didn’t exist but it does and
it’s real. Bullying is real. How many lives will it take before this abuse
ends? Will it ever end? Words are powerful people so let’s watch how we use
them.
